Healthy sows and piglets are at the heart of sustainable swine farming. Only healthy animals grow and produce optimally what results in a profitable swine operation. At AHV, we understand that as a swine farmer you face many challenges, not only in terms of legislation and regulations, but also with regard to animal health.

The threat of antibiotic resistance, combined with continuing consumer demands on our animal production, has led to further legislation and regulations that can lead to limitations on productivity.

Piglet survival is a major challenge, especially during the first three days after birth. The AHV Neonatal Development Programme supports piglets in the most challenging period of their life.
