How We Work
Each programme within AHV Cows & Calves is based on a predefined approach. The Claw & Skin Programme consists of four levels of support to improve tissue regeneration. This is dependent on the status and accessibility of the site and tissue. Allow the AHV Specialist, together with you, to work with the AHV concept from a completely different angle: the exterior of the animal.
Benefits
Technology
AHV offers a Claw, Skin & Hygiene Programme that goes beyond nutrition. This programme provides a range of products that are easy to apply and suitable for multiple purposes. These purposes focus on the living environment, and skin and tissue care of your cattle, based on the patent pending AHV QSA Technology and/or newest knowledge of animal care.
Animal health
A clean-living environment is the basis for healthy livestock. A healthy cow can be recognised by production values, cow (exterior) signals and physical state. Keeping the environment of the cow and calf clean as well as providing support to (skin) tissue and outer care is essential.
Financial
Healthy animals produce more optimally and require less intervention. A clean living environment is a prerequisite for optimal performance of your dairy cattle, which will ultimately pay off in improved health status and production.

AHV Products for Claw, Skin & Hygiene
The AHV Protocol poster for claw, skin and hygiene
The above products are used based on the health values of your cow, looking at the present and the past. Four categories can be distinguished. To make these categories easily visible for you as a dairy farmer, we have developed a protocol poster.
Do you want to know which category and health approach fit the challenges your herd faces? Leave your details to have a printed version delivered to your farm by one of our advisors.
